Cecilia Lero is activist, policy consultant, and academic, who dedicated over a decade to civil society activism in the Philippines. She led campaigns on housing rights, reproductive rights, and election integrity. With a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Notre Dame and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of São Paulo, she combines social science methods with context-specific knowledge for effective strategies. Her research delves into social movements and political violence. She authored “The Radical Right: Politics of Hate on the Margins of Global Capital.”
