Volya is an activist from Belarus, who rose to prominence following the fraudulent 2020 presidential elections and subsequent state violence. Volya’s advocacy extends to supporting unjustly imprisoned individuals through Solidarity Atelier, emphasizing the power of solidarity. Despite facing persecution and a 12-year sentence in absentia in 2023, Volya remained committed, representing Eastern Europe and Central Asia in the Youth Liberty Alliance of the World Liberty Congress. In the face of oppression, Volya underscores the importance of unity among activists for collective strength.
